Re: How many own Tika M39's???

Tikka M39 is a hard one to find.

I never planned to get this many M39s. I still need a Tikka.

Re: 1943 Tikka 91/30

Nice!

Most 1943 Tikkas have hex and 1944 have the rounds.

Some nice features, button band, Looks like a walnut stock, stacked front sight.

Re: 1943 M44 or Polish M44

The 43 M44 is more rare than the Polish M44 but that doesn't make it more desirable, hence the higher price on polish M44s. There are Polish m44s that are basically new and unissued, these are in mint condition and cost $500+. The best thing to do is make an offer and buy both. In all seri...

Re: 1943 M44 or Polish M44

A new looking Radom m44 is a sweet rifle. i would get that and if a spam can throw in then its a no brainer. Spam cans are going for $120 here.

Re: Odd 1940 M28-30 Any Ideas?

I saw that too but didn't want to risk that money on a rifle that didn't speak to me.

Don't know if it was the Finns who modified the stock or was it bubba? CAI has also snipered many Finns in the past so maybe they could have also done this.

Re: Finnish Rifle Questions

Ironic that you took your daughter and granddaughter to get a Lottakivaari, Lotta’s rifle.

The Lotta Svärd is the women's auxiliary and they raised the money to make the M24s.

Re: Finnish M91/24 Update w/ Photos

That's a really good rifle for the money. A little tlc and she will be as good as new.

The civil guard numbers show some of its history, pretty cool.

Re: Finnish Rifle Questions

I'm thinking it was a m24 as this is a Finnish barreled m91. It could be a m28/30 if it had a Sako gear mark and SK.y. If it has the gearwheel and the word SAKO and Riihimaki then you better run back and get it now. M39 would also be an option especially if it was in a straight stock and not the com...

Re: Another M27

I am trying to get all the years of the M27 and have all the easier to get ones. I hope to stumble on the harder ones tucked away in the corner on a local gun shop. If they show up on GB then i'll have to pay to play.

Re: Another M27

This one is just over 1000 higher than my other 1933 and 11K lower than my 1934. I thought it was a nice touch still having the wings and it was one of the reasons i got it. As easy as it is to swap out the connector bar and the supposed issued they cause, I would assume most would have been done du...

Re: A good neighbor and an M44!

Remove from the stock and check the tang date.

A barrel could be in an older receiver but unlikely to be in a newer receiver.

Another M27

I saw this nice example of a M27 on the local classified and decided the prices was right. I already have a 1933 M27 but the two are quite a bit different, my first one is a post war refurb in a 28/30 stock and missing the usual m27 features. That m27 is shown in the showcase. This one is also a pos...

That looks to be a keeper. You scored a nice rifle for a good price.

I threw out a low bid in this one. :D

This goes to show how good photos and a accurate description will help sell the rifle.
