Re: Finn barrel band retaining screw
I seem to remember someone on here saying track screws from model railroads are a very close match. Maybe take a look in a local hobby store.

Re: AR15 A2
My A2 is a White Oaks Armament CMP setup. A stainless floated match barrel, pinned rear sight, wylde chamber and a Geissele Hi-Speed National Match Trigger. If it's worth doing, it's worth overdoing.

Re: M27 Without a D Stamp
I have at least one without the D mark and I remember the vkt and 1940 doesn't have the F mark.
If you are worried about shooting it, just go and buy another M27 that has the D stamp.
Oh, great looking rifle with a sweet sling.

Re: AR15 A2
I like the classic simple look and function of an A2 as that is also what i was issued .
The prices are dropping but we need to remember at some point there will be a Dem in office and talk of anti 2A legislation will drive the prices back up. Now is the time to buy if you want a good deal.

Re: Gunbroker fraud turd alert.
This crook must have had dozens of responses to the listing calling it out as a fake. Add in his other sale and that buyer calling him out and not buying it. He must realize the jig is up and is trying to cover his ass. How stupid is he buying a rifle, adding fake marks and then selling it a few wee...

Re: Gunbroker fraud turd alert.
This particular clown there is. He defaced the serial number. That is a federal and state offense. Luckily the buyer of one of his previous works I and another member were able to get in touch with before he sent $1,700. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk But the serial is on the barrel, not the re...

Re: Storing "too many" in the safe
I like getting the smaller (28 gun) safe as they are more manageable and easily fit through doors. Cheap enough to buy more as you fill them up. I have a few of the winchester safes from TSC. In this thread. http://www.russian-mosin-nagant-forum.com/viewtopic.php?f=105&t=28699 you can see how i ...

Re: Buying at out of state gun show?
This is where federal law comes into play. An out of stater can buy a long gun in another state but it must be transferred through a ffl. A pistol must be shipped back to a home state ffl where it is then transferred. If you have a C&R and either the long gun or pistol is eligible then you are t...

I have a refurb with it. Don't know if it was a repair of damage or repairing a manufacturing mistake. It's infront and behind the mag and is a nice clean repair. http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y143/lees99f150/Aimshex015_zps435c95c4.jpg http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y143/lees99f150/Aimshex016_z...

Re: "american caputered" sniper
Here is the serial number the importer was required to put on the receiver. This alone make the hole story BS and the seller is trying to scam the buyer. http://i1199.photobucket.com/albums/aa474/LRS23S/DSCN4528_zpsttsjeiee.jpg Welded bolt knob. This proves this is a fake bubba "sniper" ht...

Some time and effort and you could track down Major Anderson and his service history. A quick check and I found this info. If he was a captain and got a promotion to Major, he would likely move up to a staff position like G2. http://valor.militarytimes.com/recipient.php?recipientid=33861 Cool rifle ...

Sweet score. I still need a tikka m39.
This wasn't at Cabelas was it? I know they get their prices very wrong in either direction.
