Re: RE: Re: K98k 1939 147 Norwegian Converted to .30-06

Saw one but the crest was well worn. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk The Israelis seem to be rising in price as ...

1904 Spandau Gew 98
Picked this one up recently. The extractor, cleaning rod and bolt stop are mismatched but all other parts are matching. Stock disc is unit marked for a pioneer regiment if im reading it right. Ive wanted a Gew98 for four years and this one fit the bill.

Re: Best WW2 Battle Rifle poll!
Ive had the good fortune to hold a real Fg-42 made by Kreighoff. The gun seemed light for what it was. Would like to fire one but would have to use my weak hand as Im a lefty. As for the poll options I would say the Garand. John Garand truly was a genius and he overcame the Ordnance bureaucracy and ...

Re: Berthier Carbine...
Ive seen a few Lebels, Berthier rifles, Belgian 1889s and Mosins that were modified for German ersatz bayonets albeit in a different style with an attachment at the barrel similar to a Gew88. They were also marked with Deutches Reich cartouches

Re: Irish contract No 4 Mk2
The minty No 4 mkiis bring good money here. Out of curiousty what does a Garand or an 03 bring there? I know Enfields on average bring more up there.kjohn wrote:Wow! I sold an unfired Irish contract with mismatched mag for $900 at the Calgary show this Spring. No. 4's bring good money here in Canada.
