Re: Carbines....MMMMM
That is so cool! One thing I've learned in my time is that you'd have to spend hundreds of thousands of dollars to accumulate EVERY variety, type and model of Mosin Nagant out there. For me... I'm not a collector. A collector is someone who (to me) is actively focused on obtaining a planned group o...

Re: 1925 Tula 91/30 Molot
...I'm moving to Arizona! NOOOOOOOO......... I have enough competition here the way it is. Kidding of course (not about the competition though). We have pretty relaxed gun laws here, so I think there are quite a few out there for private sale, not to mention all of the pawn shops. Those are hit and...

No, not too bad. Price was pretty good too. 200 with 80 rounds of silver bear/pouch/oil can etc.

From what I remember seeing, only under the handguard. I'll look closer, but nothing struck me before.Rongo wrote:Are the Molot markings only under the wood on this one or all over the gun?

1925 Tula 91/30 Molot
I had this posted in another section, then realized it has Molot markings so I'm posting it again here with photos.

Re: 1925 Tula
I took this apart and noticed a "MADE IN RUSSIA" stamp on the barrel under the handguard. Is that normal? I've never noticed it on any of my others, although this is my first one from PW. Here's a photo. Guess I should have taken a minute and researched before I asked. From what I underst...

Re: 44 Tika 91/30
I recently had a Tikka 91/30 come up locally, non bubba'd for 250. Non matching bolt. I was on the fence and it got away. I wasn't too heartbroken. Personally, I'd keep looking, but that's just me.

1925 Tula
I just bought this yesterday. Price seemed pretty good and I didn't have one yet from Foremost Tula Ordinance. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think it is an updated Dragoon. Length matches my other 91/30's. I haven't had it apart yet. The previous owner had it coated pretty heavily in oil that I wan...

Re: 91/38?
I'd give 250 all day long for that, but that's just me. I know there is a lot of discussion that goes back and forth on what something is worth, but I would consider that run of the mill 91/30's are going for 200 - 250 right now. I am cheap, and I wouldn't pay that for a 91/30, but I see them sellin...

Re: A good day on ArmsList
Good Job! I picked some up locally a few weeks ago on AL too. Fortunately I caught it about 5 minutes after they posted. Ended up with around 840 rounds for 120. The guy I bought one of my 59's from had 2 spam cans for sale last year for 100 each. Kicking myself for passing on those. Did you find lo...

Good thing you were able to control yourself and jump out at 400. I don't know that I would have been able to get that high without really sweating.
