There is gent who has been collecting serials and identifying marks on the P series for many years. From what I can make out from your picture your P-27 isnt in his database.

I've got a 91/59 stock. It has a chip out of it but its from a 91/59 so at least you would feel like you put her back in the right furniture. PM me if you want pics.

In the picture mine is the larger. The other picture in the red circle is a pic I found on a sellers website. Anyone else have one of these?

This is just the kind of oddball that attracts me... Very cool... Me too. Guess it takes and oddball to attract an oddball... :lol: LIke I said earlier, the '34 is otherwise your typical refurb all numbers matching in great shape. Looks like it came back and didnt go back out after its last refurb....

Nice one! Been looking for one to replace the one I just let go of because the front sight was a little loose. Nice M38 stock too. Great price for these parts...we're in a mosin drought around here.
