Looks like 91/38 marked to me...

There is gent who has been collecting serials and identifying marks on the P series for many years. From what I can make out from your picture your P-27 isnt in his database.

I've got a 91/59 stock. It has a chip out of it but its from a 91/59 so at least you would feel like you put her back in the right furniture. PM me if you want pics.

I've got a T53 just like yours too redspoon...

In the picture mine is the larger. The other picture in the red circle is a pic I found on a sellers website. Anyone else have one of these?

Isn't that a Chinese/ North Korean mark, the star? Stars are popular around the world. The North Korean star is enclosed in a circle, and certainly not likely to contain an "A." On 7.62x54r.net they question whether its Russian. I would post more pics but I already packed it away with the...
