Re: Wow!~Hermann Goering’s gold-plated pistol up for bid

Funny you should ask. Seem my boss went to Berlin and interview Hitler's chauffeur who id'ed the piece as well as the seller who also had Hitlers solid gold silverware and other momentues like a shovel used to open some project etc. That was a long time ago, They questioned it in the article and see...

Re: Wow!~Hermann Goering’s gold-plated pistol up for bid

I used to work for a antique gun dealer in Cleveland in the mid 60's. He bought Hitler's PPK #1. It was on the cover of Argosy Mag if I remember right and he donated it to a museum in Israel.

Re: Damn it's just too good...

To prove my point and seek your judgement that above was a tease. I know to prove my point the photos are going to have to be great. The point of this is if you buy something mint you know your not going to shoot it but if you find one that is, it is an unexpected dilemma.

Damn it's just too good...

My name is Loco and I went to GB.com. Honest I just wanted to renew and old acquaintance. She was a H-D Military and she was sweet, 6 inches and she shot like a rifle. She looked the same and I bid, and I bid, and I bid and when I woke up she was all mine. Deal done I took her to my truck with 650 r...

Re: 1918 Izhevsk Dragoon

If all rifles are made to shoot or just M N then I guess there is no time that's wrong. I have seen steel crystallize and who knows about electrolysis. They do proof new guns, just in case. (wonder what the failure rate is). At my age I heal slow. I have a 7mm Rem Rolling Block with a nice bore crus...

Re: CMP is out of working man Garands

They are not offering the carbines for sale yet? With politics and all it's probably better to go low profile at this point in time. I hate to think that CMP is being strangled for funding, and then there is the pending 1911's that ought to stimulate a buying frenzy. Guess my coin is igniting my tre...

Won it on Gun Broker for $255 with all the stuff. His buy it now was $450 and it looks sweet. The auction ended Sunday morning at 7:45, bad timing. I hope its as sweet as it looks. If I knew how to use GB photos you would see it now. Once the cosmo recedes I hope you guys are impressed. I am really ...

there has been so much rain here I sank up to my knees trying to put up a target, trying the high ground on the side still got boughed. Practice is sight acquisition and squeeze, so I aimed at wild flowers and still blew off a box and felt so much better

Re: an M2 M1 carbine is a machine gun right?

I ordered one from the DCM for $21 or $23 in about 64. I love the performance numbers fps, ftlb, hp, 0to60 and the carbine never rang in. My carbine got lost in the mail (delivered to my road side mail box) and I told DCM and they sent me another and about three weeks later the first one showed up. ...
