Re: Ammunition Inventory...

One more thing. Don't buy that PCI stuff Graf's sells. Stick with the Prvi.

Re: Ammunition Inventory...

Prvi makes a seasonal run of 8mm Lebel. You might have MidwayUSA and Graf's notify you when they get it in stock. I've done this before and they'll notify you via email. I load my own as well. Use a cast bullet made for the 8x56 Hungarian in my N marked Berthier carbine. Works nicely, but I've had s...

Looks good! Type 38's have been tougher to come by the last couple of years.

Re: Swedish M38

That's why we have Swedish Mauser experts. I thought 42 and 43 Husqvarnas were more common than 41's. I stand corrected. I knew 44's were the most uncommon.

The Swedish collectors can correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe 1941's are difficult to come by. Congrats!

Whatever I can afford and speaks to me. The problem is more speak to me than I can afford. I'm all over the map, but mainly WWI and WWII milsurps.

The Enfield's around here haven't lost value. I've noticed where No.1 MkIII's have gone up.

Re: M96 Swede

I basically shoot at the 50 yard range now with iron sights. If I shoot at 100 yards I don't know if the lack of accuracy is my eyes, the handloads, or the gun. Nice Swede!

Re: Ed Harris's "The Load" your exp.

I've used 16 gr of Alliant 2400 in quite a few rifles with good success. Not position sensitive and I've never messed with fillers. Just be damn sure you don't double charge or you and your rifle will have a bad day. I've tried Unique and SR4759 with some cast loads, but I've had the most accuracy w...

Some beauties, Neal! The stock on your mixmaster is gorgeous and that Izhevsk is not easy to come by. I didn't realize you and qz2026 collected anything besides 91/38's. :D
