I have a few extra and I'd sell one for $65 plus shipping. I can send pictures later if you want to see them.

Interesting 1933 Izhevsk Finn Captured 91/30, "41" Marked
I picked this one up from a buddy today at a local gun show. It's a Finn captured 1933 Izhevsk 91/30 with the "41" stamp on the barrel shank. The stock is dated 1905 underneath the butt plate with a Finnish spliced forend. Interestingly, there are no SA stamps anywhere. Just the "41&q...

Re: Interesting 1896 Tula M91 Pickup... AZF, Finn, and 41 Marked
Thanks Millman! The 41 stamp is what really drew me to this rifle. I've never seen it on such an old M91. Shows that they were using whatever they could get their hands on.

Interesting 1896 Tula M91 Pickup... AZF, Finn, and 41 Marked
It's been a while since I've posted here, but I thought you all would like to see what I picked up today. It's an 1896 Tula M91 that appears to be a true battlefield pickup. No import marks and heavy pitting on all the metal parts. This thing obviously sat out in the elements for a while. It also ha...

1932 VKT M27
Greetings all, It's been a long time since I've posted anything, so as the year winds down, I thought I'd share my best find for 2021. I picked up this 1932 VKT M27 at a gun show early this year. I passed on it at first glance because I didn't feel the condition justified the price. It didn't regist...

Interesting M38... Any Ideas?
Greetings all, I picked up this 1943 Izhevsk M38 at a local gun show today, and I don't believe it's a typical refurb. First interesting thing is that it seems like the receiver and barrel shank have been polished. This appears to have been done prior to import. The Soviet crest has been nearly scru...

Re: Scrubbed 1937 Tula 91/30, Any Ideas On This One??
I'm thinking it cold have been an ex-sniper that for some reason didn't make the grade or somebody didn't want it mistaken for one. The C N and star being scrubbed makes me think this. Here is one of my '37s that still have both markings. 1937 Tula PE ex-sniper (2).JPG That thought had crossed my m...

Scrubbed 1937 Tula 91/30, Any Ideas On This One??
I got an interesting Mosin yesterday. It doesn't seem like your typical refurb. It's a 1937 Tula, but the Tula star has been scrubbed for some reason. Another interesting thing is that every single part, other than the barrel and receiver, is Izhevsk. Even the stock. It also appears to have it's ori...

Re: M27 Review...........Post Your m27's here!!!!
Here are my two M27s. Both are 1932 Tikka's. Both are in recycled Russian stocks. One stock originally had a wooden cross bolt and no sling slot in the butt. The other has had the sling slot filled and has a "Ski Troop" swivel in the front sling slot. 27s-1.jpg 27s-2.jpg 27s-3.jpg

Thanks! I was shooting regular Russian surplus from the 70s or 80s. I believe the headstamp code was 188.redhat10 wrote:What are you shooting in there..I cannot get mine to flame like that, Nice rifle BTW..

Re: Newest Acquisition: M44 Trials Rifle!
I got a little range time with my new treasure today, and it was great! I forgot how much fun it was to shoot an M44. Amazingly, it seemed to kick less than my Finn 28/30 .
