Photobucket works for me. Upload it and then find the "img" link and copy it from there and paste here. Unless you are on a phone then just use tapatalk. Lol

Butter her up bro. Make dinner. Work your swerve. THEN pop the convo again. She will be much more receptive. Cold calls just dont work.

THAT being said. If you absolutely must go behind her back for whatever reason you have, just have the gun shipped to an ffl. Pick it up at your convenience, pay your minor transfer fee, sneak it in at your convenience.

Personally, I think it sounds like a bad idea. Not what you want to hear, I'm sure. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk Quoted for truth. Be honest with her from the get go. Long term she will understand. It is your life and your decision and if you explain to her why this is important to you, she wil...

Re: And so, it has come to this . . .
If it makes you feel better, the last time I went in my lgs they had one 91/30 and it had been refinished in solid black piano lacquer and they wanted $229 for it. In the words of Don Corleone, "Infamita." It was sad. I mean truly sad. They were proud of it. I just had to see it in case m...

It is rough. It makes any Mosin ive shot feel like a pussycat including my m44. That 8x56r is loaded hot anyway.

Re: Starting the Semi Auto collection...
IO is to AK's what Halle Arms and Blackthorne Arms (same company, just a new name) are to AR's. :very mad: Yeah. Junk. Im not a fan of the new Century built AKs either. Or the fact that they are trying to price out imports to make their rifles more competitive. I am however interested in the new PS...

Re: no new MN but I let one go
Great story. Gives me hope for future generations. It was definitely chilly round here last night. (Lafayette) where you at in NE IN? I spent a lot of time in the Fort when my wife and I were dating. Thanks I'm from Whitley CO. Just west of FW. Thats a nice area. I dated a girl from Columbia City s...

Re: Confusing 91/30 markings?????
Don't be so quick to think the bore is shot out. Most of us have at least one rifle with a sewer pipe for a barrel that turns out to a nice shooter. This is the truth. $229 seems high but it could be a good deal if its truly a non-refurb. I would have snagged it for the handguard repair. The stock ...

Re: Starting the Semi Auto collection...
I have looked at those VEPRs as well but I want something that has either been used during a conflict or is a weapon type that has been used during a war. Are Kahr Arms M1 Carbines nice? Specifically the paratrooper model. I would stay away from non usgi m1 carbines. I hear too many horror stories ...

Re: Range time and M95 sight fix
Ill bet my carbine clocked in around 5 lbs. Less than my AR for sure. It was rough. I always left the range with a visually bruised shoulder.berkmberk1 wrote:If the rifles are so lite, the carbines and stutzens must be a dream to carry...........and a b..ch to shoot! Gotta love 'em.

Re: What is the theme of your collection?
My collection consists of WW2 service weapons from 1943. It helps me to keep from going rogue just because I see something that tickles my ivories. So far Ive managed up a 43 m1 carbine, a 43 garand, and a nice 43 refurb Mosin. I have other stuff but Im trying to pare my ww2 collection into that gro...

Re: Range time and M95 sight fix
True story. Ugly trigger pull but I liked the straight pull bolt. It was definitely louder and gnarlier than my m44.

Re: Range time and M95 sight fix
I had an m95 carbine and that thing was a BEAST with that Nazi marked 1938 ammo. Fun to put 5 rds through and put it away. Definitely a line stopper when you touch off a round.

[emoji106] Nice 1917 BuckeyeSgt! Mine shipped two days ago, so I'm just playing the waiting game for it to show up at my FFL and have them give me a call. I hate waiting for things!
