I see the Hi Point and compare it to the WASR. Everyone seems to hate them, but nobody can quite explain why but they all seem to have heard on the internet that they arent any good. I think its the price point that makes people leery. After reading this thread I think I will go buy one of their 45s...

good choices. look at the VZ-58 or the less expensive but well made VZ-2008. I think Centerfire has them. Thanks for the heads up. Centerfire appears to have the VZ-2008 on thsir site.
