Re: NRA Membership
Joined the NRA this year for 3 years and will certainly renew again when it comes due. There are imperfections in the system but I hate the idea of the antis winning anything so I know my money is at least furthering the protection of my rights.

Re: Value question
I let it play out a little longer and as soon as I mentioned doing the swap through an ffl... *crickets* Was it an out of state transfer? If it's a legal in state face to face transaction why would you want to transfer through an FFL? Does your state require an FFL transfer on private sales/trades?...

Thats what I have. I prefer a free float rail but the tube works just fine. Lolfintowin wrote:I think I am going to free float this one. I like the plain aluminum tube they put on the ar10t.

Hey Rightwinger, Good name as most of us on this site are probably "rightwingers" Welcome aboard but be forewarned, there's no turning back now! While I don't have nearly as many Mosins as some members, I'm always looking for another interesting one. The thing about milsurps, they're all ...

Re: Value question
Yes mine is modern. I askrd the import mark question, neither rifle has any import marks according to him BUT the conversation took a strange turn when he told me he is not located in the state I live in but he has friends who travel for "the government" who can do the trade. I laughed out...

Re: Value question
That was kindve my thought too JYD. Ithink the carbine alone will cover the money I have in it. At the very least I will wind up with a very cheap 1903a3. Waiting to hear back from him on a few more questions and then hopefully we can set up a meet. Pictures will come if we can get a deal done.

Value question
This is completely vague so bear with me. Im not looking for an exact dollar amount, just a rough idea on value for the package. I have a rifle I am looking at trading for an M1 carbine and a 1903a3. I value my rifle at $1600 and others have agreed this is fair. The rifles in question are as follows...

Re: Can I have suggestions
Agreed with the above. 223 is a cheap plentiful round for longer range shooting. I went with 308 because I just enjoy shooting larger calibers.

I hate when Candians post about svt40s. But they hate when I post about AKs so it comes full circle.

Re: Trusted and/or used bulk ammo sites
Still pretty confused by this whole kerfuffle. How were they being sneaky? How *could* they be sneaky? They can't prevent you from buying ammo without you knowing about it. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk Of course they can. Remember when 5.56 disappeared off the shelves after Newtown? And then 6 ...
