Ive seen pictures of other Molots with VERY fresh cuts for scope mounts. They dont even take the time to coat the notch. Its freshly exposed wood.

It appears the AIM rifles are PW arms imports and the Classic ones have the huge MADE IN RUSSIA on them and imported by Tulsky. It might be worth it to pop the extra $50. And I just noticed AIM has free shipping on them. No Tulas but I would be thrilled to have one that doesnt appear to have giant marks on it. I think Im ordering an AIM tomorrow after I cash a check.

Thanks for reminding me that I need to get an adjustable gas plug! Happy to help, but after buying a tinkering with a Schuster I would look loooong and hard at a Garand Gear gas plug. Im not happy with the Schuster and need to buy one of the Garand Gear plugs before I go out next time. No adjusting...

I agree with that. But I would rather pay $30 for an adjustable plug and just buy cheap fmj as I find it than pay CTD. Its the principle of the matter. Still tempting... lol
