Re: Classic just dropped the bomb.
I also ordered one, B barrel, unissued with hang tag. Mine has a little dig in it but other then that, it looks unused. Now about the hang tag!!! oh mine has a hang tag all right. It's a hang tag with just your normal firearms safety warnings. Calling classic tomorrow about the hang tag.

Re: Split cases
No; what I meant is that split steel cased surplus ammo is generally such a non-issue and we've all experienced it, that it doesn't get our attention unless there are gaping holes and gas leaks out the reciever into our faces...... I have shot threw 3 tins of surplus and never noticed this b...

Split cases
Hi all, I was out shooting 2 of my Mosins the other day and I ended up with some split cases. http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/640x480q90/912/YhU6pS.jpg http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/640x480q90/673/7SspNg.jpg I fired 30 rounds total from 2 rifles. First was a 1944 dated M44, the 2nd was a 1938 da...

Nice score!
I was suppose to go today but I couldn't get anyone to cover my shift at work. So how much were those SKS's?

Re: Something we don't see much of Mas Mle1936-51
Nice one Vati, clean as a whistle  That forward slant on the bolt handle has always intrigued me, have never fired one. How is the ergonomics compared to the straight or bent bolt? I really can't say yet. I have not had time to mess with it much. From what I have read, the slant makes it ...

Re: Yugo M24/47
I have bought several rifles from samco with no issues. Shipping was a little slow but the guns (including my m24/47) were received in as advertised condition. I would have no issues buying from them again.

Quick question about refurb color
I currently have 8 Mosin nagant rifles, all refurbished. 6 of them are the thick reddish shellac, while the other 2 are more brown in color and look to have much less shellac on them. Any idea why the lighter shellac job?

1926 Ex-dragoon
Hello friends, Back around thanksgiving I bought a beat up old 1926 dated Hex Mosin from gander mountain. This old girl has a Izhevsk barrel dated 1923 that is mounted to a Tula receiver with a date on the tang of 1905. She is old and looks it. She isn't smooth when cycling the bolt because of some ...

Re: Range day
Your k31 needs a little tweaking. loosen the 2 screws holding the receiver and the tighten down the front one first then the rear one. loosen the bands 1/2 to 1 full turn. when I got mine I disassembled it for cleaning not knowing this little trick. When I went out the first time my results were sim...

Re: New Type 99 Arisaka
It does not have the wings on the flip sight unfortunately or the dust cover. Nice rifle, I recently add a type 99 to my collection too. Toyo Kogyo 31st series with mum ground off. From what I have been able to find it seems by mid 1942, a lot of these rifles came from the factory with out the dust...
