I saw the movie in Louisville Ky. on the 27th, it was amazing what they were able to do with 100 year old film. I would advise anyone who gets a chance to see it.

Ok you guys have done it I'm going to my secret MAN CAVE and select a Mosin and a can of Spam and head to the range. I'm glad I'm not the only one.

I would never replace that bolt it has some real history.

I was thinking about ordering one of those from Buds but I found one in a lgs and bought it. The WZ48 is a fun shooter and has a very light trigger pull, it is more accurate than I am, it looks a little worm but has a good looking bore. You have to push the trigger forward to remove the bolt.

Is there any way to mount a scope on it?

Is the AK47-22 like the M1600 an M20-p in a different stock? The M20-p appears to be a copy of the old Rem. 550-1 with a magazine feed system. I have a M20-p and consider it one of my .22s that will shoot any brand of .22 ammo and it accuracy is very good.

The Herters G1 looks like the Remington 550-1 which looks like it's connected to the Savage- stevens gill rifles. The Armscore M20p and M1600 rifles looks like an updated magazine fed version of the Herters G1 and Rem.550-1. Does anyone know the years the Rem. 550-1 were manufactured?

Does anyone on this forum own or have any info on a Rock Island M20p .22 rifle. I would appreciate any info or opinions on them.

I put my Mosins in the same class as my wife, they are both old and very beautiful.

I just bought a Ruger 10-22 wood stock/blued 50th at our local Wal Mart for $234.00. All my .22s and
military rifles are on rotation and get equal range time, and any of my grandchildren gets to go to the range as often as they want. My new 10-22 will get a range visit soon.

A day at the range is a good way to take your mind off everyday problems.

I wish there was a range like that close to me.
