Re: Made in Russia; Recycled in Ukraine
I thought about getting one. Thought it was a cool idea. A buddy gave me a pen that was made from the wood of the North Carolina. Here is a good website for tracking Russian losses. I’ve been following it since the beginning. https://www.oryxspioenkop.com/2022/02/attack-on-europe-documenting-equipme...

Re: More railroad watches
Fort Worth and Western I think. It’s about 200 miles of track. I didn’t know about that part of trains and watches. Interesting. Good thing I don’t do anything on trains.

Re: More railroad watches
That looks nice. My 19 year old is working for a railroad now. It’s the only thing he has ever wanted to do. I bought him an old red lateen for Christmas. Dropping hints for Christmas for a new watch with the wife. Maybe a new speedmaster soon.

Thank you all. I took some time off for a while. The kicker was that my position got eliminated 3 weeks before she passed. And life insurance ended 3 days before it happened. But I got to be there. Fast forward to now. Found a new job doing the same thing. Met a girl that was also a widow. Ex army ...

I got a decent deal in todays market on the Standard. Got a really good deal on the Underwood with all the mags and over 400 rounds. The ones my future FIL has were bought years ago. I think he said $89 or so.

Re: Couple of M1 Carbines
That is one rifle that is on my wishlist, that has eluded me thus far. Local dealer/milsurp collector has a safe queen one for $2500.00, I'm talking a sweet looking one, don't know if it's Arsensl Original or Refurbished but everything is 100% correct on it and in pristine condition. Other than tha...

Had to go to Wichita Falls to pick up a rifle. Finally got to stop in Saint Jo, TX to see the arty museum there. Largest private collection. They had even just got a full battery of 88’s in the week before.

Couple of M1 Carbines
Howdy gang. Been a while since I’ve been on. 2022 was a horror show but 2023 has been a lot better. Anyways I always wanted one of these since gramps carried one in WW2. Put out a WTB ad on tx guntrader. Got the Standard first and the rearsenaled Underwood and a bunch of extras for a price too good ...

I developed that acid reflux like you. Nothing really seems to help except eating something small as soon as I get out of bed. Otherwise it’s a stomach acid heave to the toilet.

I’ve taken several languages. Finnish is more jacked than Polish.Junk Yard Dog wrote: ↑Wed Oct 30, 2019 4:17 am You could always learn to speak and read the Finnish language, then buy the books straight from Finland. Think of how impressed we would all be to see that level of dedication from an American collector of Finnish rifles
