Re: Voting SNAFU........

At least they are asking for verification. You are fortunate to have a Governor who cares enough about the vote to check. In Michigan, there will be no required verification. Months ago our socialist SOS sent out notifications and ballots to everyone that they could simply mail in. I returned it to ...

Re: Mauser information

I would also suggest that you watch the C&Arsenal videos to gain a good understanding of the Mauser history and the individual guns themselves. There are also quite a few very good books that were written on the subject from a "Mauser" overview that contains a little on each one to ind...

At least he didn't marry her. I'm sure that someday she will have a lot of explaining to do... For now, it must be great to have your son home again. Three years without seeing your children, no matter their age, is a long time.

Re: New Member from U.K.

Also here we can easily obtain a Curio and Relics license to purchase most weapons that are 50 years or older which is what the majority of rifles and pistols that we own are. But, when I purchase modern firearms that require a background check,my transfer agent still calls it in the old fashioned w...

Re: Sourcing Ammunition

I just did some dealing with a guy on GunBroker who had as part of a rifle deal a case of Red Army .54r. I got him down to about .50 cents a round including shipping. I still have a ton of surplus but I thought I would pay extra for the non corrosive stuff for my PSL. I think that the days of cheap ...

Re: Preserve or custom?

The answer is, the minute bubba makes permanent changes. I've had success bringing back a few of these where the stock was cut down and those were the only changes. That was then, this is now. Finding stocks for just about anything is getting more and more difficult and costly. Really, anymore, I wo...

What state are you in? In many of the commie states, contact tracing would have you isolated for two weeks after having come in contact with someone who supposedly has Covid... Your body would create the same antibodies for any flu, even a common cold, that you have experienced over the last 10 year...

Go and have fun. Don't worry about the so-called virus. Lower bag limits could be an issue. And geese, especially Canadian geese, need to be culled heavily. All we need are lower cull limits and more geese... I can imagine that the geese are smiling.

I am sorry to hear of your loss. We all face this at one time or the other. But, as Rongo said, passing in her sleep was a blessing. My wife passed after 42 years, as well. She had her first heart attack in the year 2000 at age 50 and passed in 2014. Never smoked or drank and was never overweight. O...
