The "0" on the round part of the receiver interested me and so did the stamp that looks like a "4", the 2 in a circle and the 2 on the soviet crest intrigued me as well.

So I bought a Savage 93R17 from a buddy for $140, he knew that i liked "that old stuff" so he threw in a free Mosin with the deal. A '42 Izhevsk 91/30 which has a few interesting stamps which i will post later

I think racer was wondering about Finn m44s to get an idea on the commonality of extra parts the Finns might have at hand, a little insight on how a m44 stock spliced into a 91/30 might come about, and how common or rare such an occurrence may be. At least thats how i took it
