Re: WTS: Decided to sell a large portion of collection

I answered some. Then got busy. I need to go back through them.
Gunbroker was more of an experiment than "going for the cash". But it did turn out better than expected.

Re: WTS: Decided to sell a large portion of collection

Sorry all for being absent. Been so buried in crap to do. Never a free moment. I did experiment with an item on Gunbroker. Turned out much better than expected. Just showed me how out of touch I am with the market. So I am going to try a one or two more there when I get the change. Can I post those ...

Re: WTS: Decided to sell a large portion of collection

The trouble you have going over your collection, trying to decide how to sell things, is that you fall in love with your collection all over again. :? :!:

I am going to answer all the requests I have so far. But I can't take any more. I want to be able to answer the requests I have so far in a timely manner. So I need to stop at this point and get caught up.

Thank you for your interests.

WTS: Decided to sell a large portion of collection

I am gathering information on my collection for possible sale at a National auction. Still in the early stages. But thought I would drop a line here because I know the members here appreciate surplus arms. For now, I will not list them all. But if there is something you are looking for, I may have i...

Schmidt M1882/29 Swiss Ordnance Revolver 7.5 MM

Just made a new purchase for way too much money. But this revolver just looked so cool to me, so I had to scratch that itch. I haven't received it yet, but it looks to be in really great condition. Like a lot of firearms I have purchased over the years, I seem to buy what I think is really cool, the...

Re: 9mm reloading assistance needed.

"Just looking at your pictures, the center round looks longer than the two factory rounds you display, and the bullet profile is quite different; not as rounded as the other two." Exactly. But the factory rounds are much shorter than the book states. It would be no problem seating it deepe...

9mm reloading assistance needed.

Been reloading off and on for years, but sill a novice. Started reloading 9mm JHP. Made exactly to specs in book. But round will not chamber. I know it is too long,and/or nose is too wide. I have attached 3 pics. First is specs I am using from Lyman handbook. Second are the 3 rounds . Outside rounds...

One rare chance to brag

I was out shooting 200 yards at a local range with my 1933 Tula. The video was turned on just after the first shot hit the gong. (Guess you'll have to trust me on that one) I was able to repeat the second. Pretty close on the third. For a few short seconds, I was really feeling like a hot shot. Ha h...

Not new here, but have a question. What do you all use now for posting pictures? Last time I posted, I used photobucket. But that site is useless now. Any suggestions?

My entry into the pocket pistol world

Hello all! Long time, no post. Yes, I'm still around, and still collecting. Recently picked up this Colt Junior from an auction house in Cincinnati Ohio. I didn't know anything about it. But it looked cool, and came in the original box. I was so happy with it, I had to share. Made in 1971. I believe...

Thanks for the tip. They look like they have a small but nice selection there. I will get in touch with them.

I am surprised there was not a bigger response to this post. I know the budget is small. But you got to start somewhere. :)
