Re: Not So Friendly Experience With A Dealer Today

Guys, all forms 6s or on hold. That means anything firearm related that requires import. Do you have a source for that, that isn't a firearms website? Firearms related websites tend to skew towards the doom, gloom and buy all the guns while you still can version of the story. Yes, Tim Harmsen from ...

Re: Not So Friendly Experience With A Dealer Today

So, what is your goal here? Is it to buy a $200 Mosin and try to drive up the price by exacerbating the problems so you can sell it for $300? and make $100? or maybe even more? Dolk Are you serious? Assuming imports on these rifles is now over, all available rifles are set to increase from now on. ...

Re: Not So Friendly Experience With A Dealer Today

I have the rifle in hand now. It is not a Molot. I would never buy a Molot in the first place. It was imported by CAI. It has a very small import mark on the left side of the receiver. Pics will follow later.

Re: Not So Friendly Experience With A Dealer Today

It's my understanding that if imports come out of the Russian rebel controlled area of Ukraine that will be considered banned as well. Anyone know what area of Ukraine these things come out of?

Not So Friendly Experience With A Dealer Today

Ok so we all know there will be no more imports of Mosins from here on out due to the sanctions of the Obama Administration. So i was at a local dealer today and had a friend meet me there to look at a very nice M44. The friend has been wanting to get his first Mosin for a while and I found this rif...

Re: What to look for when buying an M1 Garand?

Back to the M1, The CMP is the only place you can get a good M1 for a fair price. 625.00 dollars plus shipping on the rifle to your door. Thats right, one of the few times you wont have to have the rifle shipped through an FFL with a fee. The CMP will ship it to your door in a nice hard shell case. ...

You can pretty much forget about the handgaurd but if there are any to be had its going to be on the auction market and the various sites for auctions. You might want to look into the link below however. http://lswinds.webs.com/vz52.htm Also about reloading, there are die sets but no one makes brass...

Re: Range time Finn

The same thing happened to me with my unissued Polish M44 while at the range. I got one shot off then the damn spring snapped. I purchased its rplacement at Liberty Tree from the link above and I will say that spring snapping was the best thing that could have happened to my M44. Now the trigger was...
