So this is a Chatellerault mag? Which one of the markings identifies it?

Re: My First M39 (Lots a pics)

There does appear to be a mark of some type but it doesn't appear to be a date.

My First M39 (Lots a pics)

Well I am the proud new owner of my first M39. Clearly this one is well used, may have been used in the later days of the Continuation War, and probably issued post war. The receiver is the interesting part of this rifle. As you can see in the pics, it clearly had signs of rust as it is pitted and a...

Re: My first build finished

I have over 1000 rounds through my New Frontier polymer lower and have had no issues. I have seen maybe one or two issues reported by others through a google search but by and large I can't find any reports of failures. We now see about 5 major gun companies releasing polymer lowers now and there ar...

Re: What are some VERY strict collector forums?

Vblue, I don't recall the post in question because in the course of my job here on the board I look at every post, or try to, and that is 1000's every week. If I see something like that in a forum not the one reserved for restoration or sporting rifle questions then I move it and post a warning abo...

Re: What are some VERY strict collector forums?

It's a thread about an importers alteration to a milsurp for the US market. But I wouldn't wish anyone the treatment I got from you so I'll reframe from throwing them under the bus. No one deserves threats like that for a minor infraction. And just pointing to someone else's stupidity in a bubba'd f...

Re: What are some VERY strict collector forums?

Yeah I would say this forum is pretty damn strict. Theres that one time that I posted a link to a horribly bubba'd M44 to show just what idiots do to these rifles and to remind others to "never go there" I got a response from Millman that if I ever did that again I would be banned! Im sti...

Re: Tpye 56 Paratrooper

Well it sounds like its an alteration by the importer so there is actually no such thing as an "SKS Paratrooper" as it was in its original configuration.

Re: Prices at Pat Burns site

Wow all this pricing talk makes me glad I got a my order in on Thursday night. I paid 369.99 plus shipping and it ships today and I don't regret one second of it. It certainly wouldn't surprise me however that the supply that Pat has is dwindling. I made the design to finally get an M39 about two we...

Re: M39 fin sako or sky worth it or not?

And here she is. These are...

11,000 is a steal. The going rate for a real STG/MP44 is about 40,000+
