Re: AIM 1943 Tula PU Sniper Pic Heavy

my 42 Izhevsk has its front sight towards the left that much. otherwise it was hitting high and to left of target. short front post can be made 1/8" taller with shrink tubing as a crappy temporary solution to a front post that needs to be taller.

Re: Ordered some ammo online for the first time

the 2 M91-30's i ordered from AIM took exactly 1 week from order to my door. it was during/in middle of unmentionable rifles ,so that feeding frenzy probably slowed getting my order sooner. i always remove ammo from stripper clips and inspect it and reinsert in clips. i want the other guy to die for...

Re: How to Secure Your Firearms until I can acquire a Gunsaf

Well, I must say the small 'document safe' idea is a great one for storing bolts!. My wife and I divided up two bedrooms in the house. She got the "office" and I took my son's old room on the second floor and have turned the entire room into a safe. Steel security door, with industrial de...

Re: two new members of the family.

Sweet! Your a .22 cowboy now haha. Where are the scratches on the henry? It looks good from the pics. Sent from my LS670 using Tapatalk I'd take pictures of them but they are tiny. I also bought that lil SA cuz I quit smoking sat and that's more fun to play with than one of those stress ball things...

i use a small amount of copper based anti-seize instead of grease= it clings better to cam surfaces.

Re: two new members of the family.

I lost two members of the family today but got two so.....Here they are. The Henry repeater I got instead of 200$s for my hi point 9mm. I think it was better for me than him. The other is a present to me for agreeing to move to Illinois. It is a heritage single action 22. Both will shoot short, lon...

Re: 2nd Mosin - 1943 Izhevsk 91/30

i have had no problem with refurbed head spacing,But,i check them anyways just to be sure. at the minimum i would buy a "Field Gauge" Okie has nice ones and is a sponsor for this site. i carry a go and a field gauge in my bag and check others rifles so they have piece of mind also.

both bayonets on the 41 and 43 Izhevsk mount right onto each other rifle, even when mixed up. but the 41 bayonet is serial numbered to the 1941 Izhevsk M91-30.. this first time of any refurbed where bayonet matched bolt, butt plate magazine, and barrel. this 41 is a keeper. after refurb it was issued t...
