Manually pushing a piece of lead through your bore to then measure the slug and determine your bore diameter will NOT result in leading of your barrel. If you want the best accuracy out of your reloads, slug the barrel and get a measurement of the actual bore diameter to get a better starting point ...

Very cool find! Not just the training device, but unless I am seeing it wrong, the rear sight itself is extremely rare to find still attached to a weapon. That looks like an original sight that would have been replaced after spitzer bullets were adopted.

According to Terence Lapin's book, page 226 seven symbols E F H K P R S are believed to be inspection marks, although all of the illustrations in his book have an arrow mark pointing outward conjoined to the center left of the symbols

Be careful. There are far more reproduction M39 bayonets than surviving originals. I would suggest that posting images on the internet for authentication purposes may not be the best approach.
