Thanks .I have a real strong feeling that this is a very good shooter..I am right now doing a thorough cleaning in the chamber area because of the possibility of the dreaded sticky bolt syndrome , lol. Also I thought the Mosin Nagants went to the round receiver in 1930 this is a 1934 Tula Hex receiv...

Thanks for the input unfortunately the seller has a family emergency and won't be back until Thursday and I didn't get the M-44s ...I think I have Mosinitus bad

I'm going today to pick either a unissued mint condition Polish M-44 or a mint condition Russian M-44 dated 1948 ,both have mirror bright bores with very sharp grooves and lands for 500 dollars a piece. I was wondering which is better and is it worth the price

I am back to collecting mosin nagants again I used to be a member of this site many years ago known as Tinner and I couldn't remember my password or correct screen name .. which brings me to letting people know that I finally have bought my first Finnish Mosin Nagant it is a M39
