Heads up...AIM has ammo

Post by JayPoc »

Having not been able to find any reasonably priced surplus ammo on-line or at shows, I was happy to see some in-stock at AIM today.

79 bucks/440 for the 70s Bulgarian stuff, and a little more for some Russian non-corrosive (allegedly) stuff....

Cool! I was worried the surplus was about done. I bought what must have been one of the last crates of their last batch, at $69 a can, it'll be delivered tomorrow.

I was worried too...luckygunner jacked up their price to 105 and is showing none in stock, and CTD had some Russian stuff for $160/440rds

Hmm. I see they took the "sold out" sign off that listing, but when I added some to my shopping cart I got a message saying they were sold out! Darn that was quick!

Once they had finished shipping existing orders they probably found they had a few cans left over so they put them up for sale. Those few are now gone. I used to work online retail and saw that happen a lot. The sold out notice will probably reappear tomorrow.

They apparently still have some of this ammo which is new manufacture, non-corrosive and a pretty good deal.

Dan's Ammo in PA has Russian for $75 + shipping. Depending on where you live it may or may not be a good deal.

That still works out to $200.00 per case for me. At least this seller has the decency to calculate shipping charges before you go thorugh all of the rigamorerole of "checking out" and getting the big surprise at the end. I appreciate that.

$220 a case to me. Shipping is $70. WTF on freight charge. $25 or $26 a case from SGAmmo.

If you want non-corrosive ammo, Ammunition To Go still has Brown Bear, Silver Bear, Priv Partisan, and Winchester FMJ available. I recently ordered 500 rounds of Silver Bear and then last week ordered another 500 rounds. They no longer advertise 500 or 1000 round cases. Only 100 round purchases, so you have to buy 5X100 or 10X100 to get full case lots.

Ammo To Go is shipping pretty slow, I ordered on 12-27 and they sent me an
email recently that says it won't ship until 1-24 to 1-30.

very happy with my order from Copes, it has already arrived and with 9.95 shipping I did not see how it could be beat. I want to thank Weldon for the heads up. I got the 4 spam cans in Sat shipped all four for a total of 9.95. I will sure do business with them again. Also a site sponser

Same all over, everyone is backed up with shipping.

True. I'm just happy there is still some kind of selection still available. .223 owners aren't so fortunate.
