Just when I thought Christmas was over................

Post by redeuce »

We had opened all the gifts. Ate dinner, sitting and talking. Everyone getting ready to leave. Son in law says"oh, wait, I have something for you in the car". God bless my son in law.........

I would say he is a keeper and the best son-in-law you have ever had.
The more he brings you the better he is.

And we got your grocery list and address. Always be aware of what is in the background of your pics. Just a friendly reminder.

Let's hope that all the ammo that was recently bought up was stacked in a corner and will be for sale cheap next year when we go over the fiscal cliff and people have to eat. Well, we can always hope.

A case of comblock ammo as a Christmas gift. Hard to find better proof of our winning the cold war that that. :D

I'd go to the range, pay my fees, shoot for 20 min and leave broke. A buddy from the Army called me and wanted to go shooting last weekend. I said hell no I ain't burning up precious ammo.

Look at the numbers on the end of the shell case. One is the factory number and the other is the year.

I bought a can and then bought several cases. The clips have nice stamps on them although very light.
I mean from just looking at the can on the outside, like the green 440's. It's too pretty to open just yet........................

I don't open cans anymore, I just buy a spare couple hundred rounds loose every now and again if I want to plink.

When ammo was cheap I was opening cans every week, I have ammo boxes being used for other things all over the place because of that, But I held so back, and have added to the pile in recent days. If I never use them they will be worth more than I paid one day when the surplus ammo is all gone.
