"Crackshot" Wendy

The very fine and lovely woman in my life, Wendy, decided to take a hunter's safety course this year for her license. It paid off!
Her very first shot bagged a 13 lb jake-turkey. The little hen is mine from the same flock. We called them in from the center of the field to the woods line, and...
.... BAM! BAM!

Nice going Wendy. Now get the old buzzard to get you enrolled in a CCW class...then buy you a nice handgun.

BTW, I don't require CCW class as I am prior Military, but a handgun would be nice.

I had five turkeys parade through the yard yesterday, I wasn't hungry and they were small birds compared to the ones above. They knew they were safe and didn't pay any attention to me.

I tried turkey pepperoni last night, oh man did that taste like crap. Fat or no fat content, pepperoni should be made with pig! Roasted turkey smothered with gravy is much better

Try making some turkey jerky; It's pretty good stuff!
Nice that your lady will hunt with you. I have a heck of a time getting SWMBO out shooting more than once a decade!
