I have one in my gun cabinet I bout a few years back and was wondering what the difference was.

Try a regular Soviet 91/30 and a Finn M39 at the same time and you will soon know the difference. :)

The Finn's took more care and matched parts, polished mating surfaces, minimized mating surfaces, in some cases they used auxcilary springs to remove creep, lightened the spring and sear, made the break crisper in any way they could that was safe and repeatable. They just cared more about the field soldier and tried to make his gun a better rifle and in that way a better soldier. Bill :wink:
