I am cleaning guns today, too much dam snow and ice outside for me to be fooling around out there so I am inside surrounded by all sorts of treasures. Among them is this oddball , somewhat typical refurb 91/30, has an early stock, and it's got an overstamped date, the 2 in 1922 was overstamped with a 3 making it 1923. It's a 1922 receiver, must have been left over from 1922.

Leave it as it is. The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it.
