I am helping a friend, who’s husband passed anway, organize his collection. Tried to put all 9 Mosin’s on this post but couldn’t, so any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I did figure out how to put 2 pics up.

What's needed to determine a fairly rough guess on value is a also a photo of the markings on the chamber such as the year, arsenal marking etc. The ones in the picture are 91/30s that look to have been refurbed. Those are common in general but some can have one little stamp.or.markimg that can really jack the value up to collectors. They may look alike at a glance but value can vary wildly.

Refurbished in this case would mean it went through the Soviets post WW2 refurbishment process before it was stored away in Ukraine. This hoard was unleashed on the US market in the 1990's and early 2000's sometimes selling as cheap as $55 for a basic 91/30 with bayonet, sling, ammo pouch, oil bottle and tools. The red tinted shellac coating was part of that refurb process for most of these Mosins including the M38, and M44 carbines
