Woke up this morning and it was 62 degrees

Post by SA1911a1 »

on the front porch. I had to start burning furniture to stay warm! It is a welcome relief. Maybe now, I can quit my inhouse hibernation and get outside to take care of some work that requires physical exertion.

Well here in California, we went from 115 degrees down to 72 degrees in one week.

Steve, my family is in Florida this week! (down in Disney World). So I hope they took a coat!

Nice! I’m looking forward to Fall time, cooler temps, and seeing the trees change color. After living in Arizona for several years I’m looking forward to having seasons again! I’m so happy to be back on the east coast.

55 this morning, peaked at 72, I am told a morning temp in the 40's is possible in a few days. Looks like it's time to break out the light jacket.

Same here. In the 50's in the morning now and low 70's during the day. Off to the lake today to try my luck. Sweat pant and sweat shirt... Seeing some sporadic leaves beginning to fall too :x Actually, I can't complain about the weather. The highest the temps got this summer was 85 and that was only for a couple of days. The house has stayed really cool all summer. Sleeping is good though. Used winter blankets last night.

Woke up this morning and the flowers had a good frost on them, that's good for our upcoming hunting trip.

Next week it's going to warm up again, that's bad for our upcoming hunting trip. :b sad:

We are back in the 90s too, but the low 90s. I spend about three hours on the mower today and it was tolerable. I am in such bad shape from hibernating in the AC all late Spring and Summer that it wore me out....and it is a rider.

We went from 102-115 degrees for 3 weeks then it dropped to 75 over night!
And it rained and was 68 outside the end of last week less then a week after 115.

Hard to "adjust" to!

Not yet 9pm and already 47, something tells me it might be a nippy morning, and I left my fucking coat at the shop, again. Haven't fixed the heat in the car either, or stocked wood next to the shop woodstove. That was all stuff I figured could wait until mid October. Only coat I have accessible is the expensive one reserved for funerals. I can't remember if I ran out of tea at the end of last winter or not, and honey. It was in the 80's just days ago, who thinks about cold weather shit when it's in the 80's?

In Fahrenheit that's only -34.6, it's still colder on the dark side of the moon.

It's 56 outside right now & possible 70's over the next few days. I like the South much better than NW Wisconsin!

28 and clear, there is a warmup on the way for the day anyway, might hit mid 50's by the middle of the week, but 20's every night.
