If it fires black powder, it is discussed here.

Black powder revolvers on the wall

Post by Longcolt44 »

I as well as others here have shot each one of these. Since times are tough right now getting black powder I decided to put them up where they could be seen and enjoyed. From the top-down, Navy 36cal, 1851 brass frame Navy 36cal, Remington New Army 44cal, and a Colt 1850 Army 44cal. The picture frame came from Goodwill for $2.00, I turned the picture to the back and drilled holes for the zip ties. A quick snip and they are ready to shoot again. The bullets in front are duds I made from S&W 38 and 38 Special cases with S&W 38 bullets in them.

Neat looking way of displaying them
Damn, I'll bet that's going to leave a mark! Probably hurt too!

Down at the goodwill store they are probably still marveling about how someone paid two bucks for that ugly picture. Good idea, much better to look at than the velvet Elvis, or whatever the picture was.  :vcool:
Leave it as it is. The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it.

I like it. Yes Chuck the velvet Elvis that was previously in the frame must have been a sight. I’d rather see the revolvers too. Great display you made
