Hi ladies and gents. First post and new to the forum. Thought I share a few pictures of my small but growing collection of C&Rs (a dangerous license to have
). First is my 1944 Springfield M1 Garand, pretty much original as issued minus sling. Second is my 1943 Saginaw M1 Carbine that had an arsenal rebuild by Raritan Arsenal in NJ based on the cartouche. Looks like it was upgraded to Korean War specs. The oiler is original IS with a D sling I bought off a gentleman on cmp. The third rifle is my 1944 Sako M39 SKY. Based on the research done by Mosin.fi, the rifle was shipped from the Kainuu Civil Guard district to the Pielisjarvi Civil Guard district on April 22' 1944. On July 11, 1944, it was inspected Condition 0/10 "in order." Looks like it saw no service during the Continuation War which makes sense for only being made six months before the end of the conflict. Fourth and not pictures is a 1943 Izhevsk 91/30 that I haven't done any research on. Only thing of note is that I paid $89 for it in 2010 while waiting for the paperwork to get done on an AR
