Wife's Creativity.......

My wife has been on a Farm House decor theme kick, and it shows up in some of her remodel/repairs in the house.

Prior to Michael we had a floating shelf in the dining room, where German Bier Steins were displayed. After the storm I packed them away and told her the shelf was hers to do as she pleases. The Steins will be displayed when the converted garage (Office/Gunroom) is done.

Anyways she found this unpainted Happy Harvest truck, and over the course of two days or so, ended up with this. The rust is actually textured, she gave it a base color (Like an original color) and then painted a different color as if it had been rattle canned or paint brushed a new color later. Looks like a well used and abused farm truck.

Well this is how it turned out, I think she did a pretty awesome job on it......Maybe I'm just biased!
