Another 1941 Tula

Just purchased this 1941 Tula on GB (my third). This is the first Finn example, will be interesting to compare to others once it's in hand. I thought the price was very reasonable, probably because the seller mislabeled it as a 1942 in the title.

That is odd wood for a Finnish made stock.

I think I recall that some were made from a different wood (Elm possibly?) than they typical birch we see.

This one is definitely interesting, I don't have any other Finnish rifles but I do have two other 1941 Tulas so that was my primary interest in this example (PUOLUSTUSLAITOS is cool too!) . I have been discussing with another member about the meaning of the P and Д markings that appear on this and one of my other 1941 Tulas. Apparently it may be related to a variance from normality for one of the parts, probably the Tula barrels.

If it smells like pee then it was a corner of an old shithouse that got blown up by Russians. Nothing went to waste.

One of mine has the "4" and "1" stamped in different font.
