He got off easy, shoot at me, miss, or don't get the job done and then see what happens.
Leave it as it is. The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it.
Don't hit at all if it is honorably possible to avoid hitting; but never hit soft.

One thing for sure. This guy had balls of steel and didn't panic... That said, he probably had to change his drawers... I didn't see any hits though...

Notice the guy's Husky didn't panic either, he did bark out, "Dumb shit, Dumb shit!!" to the shooter.

If I slow it down to .25 I see the 2nd shot hit high behind the shoulder. The 3rd square in the brisket, KO by muzzle blast.

My daughter lives in Anchorage and the way she talks the place is eat-up with Moose, even in the residential neighborhoods. She is very cautious of them. She does a lot of hiking in the sticks and comes in contact with moose and bears.

Bears are so uncommon around here that I have never seen one in the wild, and the ones we have aren't particularly aggressive. I don't mind dealing with snakes or gators, but I want no truck with bears.

I suspect that you try to make sure your first shot is well placed.

Yes sir we strive to make a clean one shot kill or we don't take the shot..... but..

Sometimes (most times) we give a second shot behind the ear

if they are still failing thier head around when we walk up to them.

As for the video I think the moose was hit and spooked after the first shot because sometimes a shot in the trees can echo and it's hard to tell where it came from.
Second shot was a hit...moose was scared and ran blindly towards hunter..

Last shot dropped him and made shooter crap his pants. lol :chuckles:
