1945 BSA No4 Mk1 "T" Sniper Rifle w/ Transit chest

Post by Miller Tyme »

Long day for sure, 480 mile round trip and 6 1/2 hours of windsheild time but got to have Lunch with a good friend, swap Christmas presents, and pick up my latest sniper, and another project for the 1st of the year.

Its a 1945 BSA produced No4 Mk1 Enfield converted to a "T" sniper by Holland & Holland. The rifle is all numbers matching with a honest mismatched scope mount with the correct model No32 MkIII an year (1945) scope, possible done during Arsenal repairs (TR). What really sets this one off is the original matching Transit Case that came with it, something that is quite hard to find.

Long trip, but worth the effort, nice rifle. :vcool: :vcool: :vcool:
Leave it as it is. The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it.

As JYD said a long trip but as it appears well worth the effort. Enjoy
Damn, I'll bet that's going to leave a mark! Probably hurt too!

Wow.
“Freedom is the right to tell people what they do not want to hear.” George Orwell, English novelist, essayist, and critic, 1903-1950

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

Not to worry it came with a can of Rustoleum Mint Green spray paint to touch it up with.

Not sure Chuck, I have had it to the range and it is pretty nice, may keep it as the shooter of the 2.
