Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

Hey folks. Currently thinking of getting a riffle. It's gonna be my first gun ever, so I'm hesitating a little bit. Is it worth it? Sorry for bumping the old thread, need your advice.

For a first gun, consider a Ruger 10-22.

Are those all 3 Tula ? The bolt in my T-03 is very similar to those.

Yes they are made at the TskibSoo division of Tula. You will find though that the finishing touches made on these rifles is extremely well done. I say that because some of the baseline Toz rifles have slightly rough finish on surfaces. TskibSoo is the “произвольная винтовка” the custom rifle shop, only the finest quality rifles for competition and various uses come from TskibSoo.

The stock on mine was rough too, and looked like it was painted with watery red koolaid . I had to unrough it.

I must say rifles like the Toz122 are a completely different horse, not even remotely similar to a МЦ13
