Yes...another AR build

Post by mogunner »

Haven't taken this one out as of yet, it's been almost constant rain for the last week or so here in Missouri. Looks like this weekend might dry up enough to get out to my little range and do a break-in and set the scope on this one. Decided to try out a 1:8 twist barrel from Spinta Precision on this one to break from my usual Anderson 1:8 barrel, hope it performs as well as I'm used to. I've got $517 in this one including the optics. I could have done it for less had I not thrown on a few items to "give it character" like the pistol grip, laser engraved dust cover, ambi charging handle, anti-walk hammer and trigger pins, bipod. etc....

Nice looking build. Did you assemble the upper yourself, or buy it complete? What kind of scope is on it?

I assemble all of them myself, I source parts from so many different places to get exactly what I want rather than whatever might be thrown in one that's already assembled.

Scope is just a Barska 3-9x40. Never had a problem with them and at under $30 or so I can't complain...have them on everything from the WASR to my .50 blackpowder rifle.

At the present time, I "only" have three...the rest have been either swap material or cash sales to finance other endeavors
