1919 Izhevsk 91/30

Post by racerguy00 »

Here's one you don't see every day. I stumbled onto the poorly named Gunbroker listing, placed a bid at the low opening bid and it held up with no other bids. To say I was pleased was an understatement.

Now the details. Typical refurb with heavily flaking shellac and black touch up paint. Mix of pre and post '28 parts, wartime stock inletted for a stepped tang. All numbers are stamped matching from refurb. Bore is really nice. 1913 dated Izhevsk receiver, This one still has a lot of grease inside and even still has the distributor's tab attached. This example is one of less that 10 documented 1919 date Izhevsk ex dragoon 91/30s. Thanks for looking!
