First deer

Got my first deer this year. Used a bear compound bow. She dressed out at 158 pounds and she is delicious haha

That looks like the one I surprised right outside my door this morning when I came out to go to work. There were four of them and they might have got me in a rush but not before I took down one or two. After a frozen moment they ambled away, and I went on about my business. The deer here know exactly where they are safe, and being that I live within 20 yards of water, and 30 yards from a public street they are legally safe...until the shit hits the fan and I get hungry.
