Here is another one. It is in pretty nice shape. It has a two piece Finn stock that looks like it was sanded at one time. I think it was done a long time ago since the Finn cartouche looks pretty strong. It has the number SS82445 on the right side. I believe that places it in the Civil Guard located in Pohjois Karjala. Thanks for looking.

Great Westinghouse. The stock looks great. That's the way it should look, looks fresh from a Finn rebuild.

I am pretty happy with it, and looking forward to researching it's civil guard district.

Nice rifle. The SS indicated the rifle was loaned to the civil guard by the Army. Not too common.

That's a real beauty. Everything is great from the arsenal stamps to the metal condition to the beautiful stock.

Thanks for posting it. (Great photos too.)

I'm curious, if you remove your trigger guard/magazine assembly, do you see another small bullseye stock cartouche in the inletting of the stock like you do on the buttstock?

Grand old piece of history. Very nice rifle, indeed! These old rifles can take us down some really neat trails, can't they?
