Break out the popcorn; it's Part II of the M39 Sale.
Administrators feel free to remove topic, of course. I'm interested in the ongoing drama for its own sake, but also for whatever effect it may have on the market.
On this go-round, I do not see any "hand select" options. Yet.
Instead, the rifles have now been segregated into Sako ($379) and VKT ($349) categories.

.....and both more expensive than any M39 I ever bought.
Leave it as it is. The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it.

The upside here is that they didn't bump the prices like I thought they were going to.

I was curious to see if they bumped the price up too.
Re: Break out the popcorn; it's Part II of the M39 Sale.
I'm waiting until noon to see what the terms are. As of now, if you hit "Details/Read more," you get nothing.
Re: Break out the popcorn; it's Part II of the M39 Sale.
The Sako rifles already show as "out of stock." $20 fee for "hand select" of the remaining VKTs.
Re: Break out the popcorn; it's Part II of the M39 Sale.
Never mind. That "hand select" option for the VKTs now shows as "Out of stock."

I got one out of the first batch and all was well until I fully broke it down. The stock was a postwar and had a huge crack in the bed of the stock so I sent it back and got another one. Which is way nicer than the first rifle I received.

Managed to get a Sako hp before they sold out.Received this email " Good news! Your order has made it through the FFL requirement check and is now ready to be picked and packed. No further information is needed on your order. The next email you receive will be when your order ships and it will include your tracking #."
Was online at 12 oclock nd ordered at once site was slow but made it thru the process.
Will post pictures when it arrives.

Why does everyone run to the Sakos first? Is it because of the pretty little gear logo that everyone just has to have??
Weren't there fewer VKTs manufactured?

No reason .......other then...........they just like SAKOS just like they like Tula over Izhevsk on Russians.
Something to watch while eating my popcorn!

"Nicely" packed I see....looks like he is causing some of those "storage marks" himself.

From classics website…
If you missed out on this batch don't despair. As soon as the dust clears and the majority of these orders are shipped we will bring the next truck load into our primary warehouse and start the process all over again. Expect new video's and more details at that time. If you missed your chance on this go round don't give up....
We have more great rifles yet to come.

Jimmies n' Jacks, how many rifles did Burns sell to these guys?
Re: Break out the popcorn; it's Part II of the M39 Sale.
I have ordered several items from Classic in the past. I was logged into my account with them and hit the order button for one of the Finnish M39 just as they changed the "For Sale" button------BAM-----not available !! The only way they could have sold all 500 or so rifles that quickly is they presold most or someone made them a better offer for all or a good number of them at once. The average guy doesn't have a chance to purchase thru their website. Would like to know if anyone was able to buy one via their website and how you did it ?? Hoppes
