So, Pat Burns is out and Classic has bought an entire "private collection." Interesting.

I immediately thought the same when I read the Classic write-up. Are there any other extensive private stocks of M39s? I mean other than the Burns'?

And if this is the remainder of the Burns' stock, the prices on M39s are going only one way.

Narrator said it's stock acquired over 20 years ago by a gentleman as an investment. Then you get to watch him open the boxes. M39 fever!

Narrator said it's the first truckload/shipment implying there will be more-- of stock acquired over 20 years ago as an investment.
Now I'm wondering if those future shipments will include antiques. I already have a M39 but I can always use another.

I may have mis-heard on the first watch/listen as far as "first shipment" goes. Apologies. I'm re-watching. . . . and it sounds like this is it.

This video is definitely worth watching all the way through. There's info that can be gleaned. For example, one box had "like new" hand marked on a flap. I'm sure that someone better at guesstimating than I am could look at the crates and ball-park a number of rifles and derive other information.

You can see the cardboard boxes are marked SAKO or VKT. I assume burns sold Classic all the common m39s and still has the SK.Y, B barrels, straight stocks and late dates.

I liked the fact Burns took a nice group of pics for each rifle so you had a good idea of what you were getting.

Hold on guys, for Classic to have bought out Burns and sell them retail for $350 he would have had to buy them for around $250-$275. Not a chance. I know a collector that has many M39s and other Finns he is holding back waiting for a good time to sell. I ain't buying the Burns connection.

The first four Gaylord boxes he opened had 100 serial numbers on the sheet he pulled out. I counted at least 8 gaylord's so that is at least 800 right there.
