Blind pig finds yet another apple!

Post by kjohn »

Just bought a 1929 M96 from a friend and fellow collector! I don't have it yet, but will be a good one to throw on the pile. :)

Leave it as it is. The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it.

A 1929 Swedish Mauser M96? If so, that is truly a rare bird.

733 Swedish m/96 Mauser made by Carl Gustafs in 1929. Matching numbers, Very good barrel, Pramm diopter rear sight and target front sight. Later "painted" stock finish. Cleaning rod. Marked "HA" on the bolt and receiver ---(might be Danish.)

Can't wait!! :)

Not in my grubby little paws yet. My friend is bringing it to Manitoba from Ontario, and I will make a trip down to pick it up. :)

Pramm. This was was first manufactured in the early 1940s and immediately preceeded the Söderin. It is fairly common.
