Remington Model Of 1917

Finally Decided to shoot this one,Rifle shot great,she's a looker.
Glad i decided to shoot it,the rifle is in great shape i was keeping it tucked away,said hell with it,took it out and found out this rifle can still shoot with the best of them.Impressive and fun to shoot.

looks good!! You seem to be shooting it backwards? I don't know how people do that.

Military Surplus magazine just did an article on this model. I would be a nice issue to have to go with your rifle.

Is it all original or does it have a replaced barrel as many were refurbished in WWII. Mine has a 2 groove Johnson Automatic replacement barrel. I found with the 2 groove barrels flat based bullets shoot accurately while boat tails do not. Nice rifle you have there.
