Swede 6.5 x 55 bullets

Post by Jbob »

Looking for the best deal on bullets. Type or grain would not really matter to me while working up loads for plinking. Would like several hundred of something I can stick with.
Thanks.

Aim has some for .70/round. I buy mine through Sportsmans Guide when they offer free shipping.

Assume you are reloading? I use the 139 gr. Prvi from Graf and Sons, pretty decent, not exceptional for around $22/100. Their ammo is also pretty reasonable and shoots decent. :D

Years ago I ran into a box of 500 107 grain Sierra Match Kings in .264. They shoot great out of my M96.
“Freedom is the right to tell people what they do not want to hear.” George Orwell, English novelist, essayist, and critic, 1903-1950

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

Ah..... The 6.5 Swede. I have often wished I had bought a Swedish rifle so I could reload for it. One of these days. I think the suggestion to check Grafs is a good one. They are top notch and shipping is free, with only a single handling charge.

Thanks guys, I order 300 Hornady Match HPBT from Midway last night for $24.99 per 100. I'll pick up some primers tomorrow and I should be set for a while.
