I think its been a decent year.

Post by kamakazi339 »

So i have been in the Mosin Nagant game for about a year give or take. I got my first shortly before i EASd (got out) from the Marine Corps. I found this site and got hooked mostly because of Buckeyesgt. Honestly though everyone here was very good with me when i showed up and didnt know anything about a Mosin Nagant except the name. My first was a 1939 Izhevsk in a laminated stock. She is still one of my favorites but i have gotten her some friends over this past year.

This post is to show off the family.

Im very pleased with the rifles I have been able to acquire this year. I know that quality is better than quantity but i don't think I'm lacking much in the way of quality so far. Thank you all very much for all of the help and for teaching me all the things i didn't know. I hope yall enjoy my family. Now lets see how next year will be!

p.s. I might need a bigger safe soon.

You've definitely got the sickness! Just wait until the Finnitis really kicks in! I'm seeing an M39 in your near future.

You've been hard at work! Nice M24!

As JYD has said, the time to act is now. I agree that availability will go down and cost will go up across-the-board for milsurps of all types.

I'd say a very good year. 15 Mosins in 12 months, you averaged more than 1 a month. Nice safe you got there also.

Thanks, The safe was courtesy of the severance from the Corps. Sadly its getting a tad small. I dont know how im going to do up and down on the rifles though i can barely get them in there up ;)

Don't blame all this on me! I talked you out of just as much as you bought. So you owe me that stahl.

Wow, very nice! You have a nice variety of rifles there. Looks like they found a good home.

Ha. I had to do the same thing with my top shelf.
Great collection. Won't be long before the ammo comes out, and more rifles go in. I'm thinking a cheap stock-on cabinet for the ammo for me. But the next safe will have to be purchased sooner or later. You know that as well as me.

Yea the ammo is really in the way. As are those knives I have in the back on the right side. To many long guns Ok that's a lie. Ill probably pick up a decent cabinet or a small safe to put my ammo in soon. Then again that means id have to save up for a safe.... jeez that's gonna be hard. :b sad:
