Question on early Russian SKS

Post by husker51 »

I believe I would like to add an early production Russian SKS to my collection. What would be a ballpark price for one in excellent condition? Lets say refurbished, force matched. I appreciate the help guys! :pop:

I asked about one here in Omaha once. They wanted $575 for it. It was a really nice looking matching numbers early 50s Tula.

It was Russian, but for my purposes I'd buy an older Norinco like I've seen on sale for $270-300 first.

I did a quick search nationwide on armslist and that seems to be the going rate. Though $450-500 pop up occasionally.

One of our members, amx4080, made this if it helps. http://www.georgestragand.com/gunstockm ... %20Russian

Then there's this http://www.gunwatcher.com/Search/sks-for-sale?h=1 shows some online vendors but also auctions and classifieds. Then there's this but there's no Russian SKS's listed from online vendors there. http://gun-deals.com/index.php?dealtype ... 5&subcat=5
