Yard Sale Nagant - '43 Izhevsk M1895

Post by martin08 »

Why I haven't acquired an M1895 Nagant Revolver before now is beyond me. They were once plentiful and cheap and I never jumped. But when one was sitting on the table at a yard sale today, I couldn't pass it up at $155, no shipping, transfer, or tax. Perfect.

Surely is an Izhevsk RGUNS imported refurb, cylinder matches frame. Came with some accessories. Looks to have a Tula stamped hammer, ejector rod, and trigger.

Pics. Enjoy and thanks for looking.

Very cool find, I just found a Finn SA marked Italian M38 bayonet at a local surplus store, for less than a C note. Good day for both of us unexpected finds. Scored some 40mm ammo boxes also, and 1957 American Rifleman mag's

Good looking outfit  One of the cleanest I've seen, the stocks look hardly used at all.

Very cool.. And an Izhevsk to boot. They are not nearly as common as their Tula brethren.

How do you find so many handguns at yard sales? Who sells handguns at yard sales? But you find Lugers, and Nagants? Let me up. Very nice revolver.

I really like mine. The more and more I read up about it the more impressed I was with it. Just before I did my daily review of these forums I looked at the listings on GB. The prices of the 1895 Nagant are rising. Anywhere from $159 through the $200' $300's upto $895 for a Husqvarna.

I wouldn't let that one slip away from you.
